Cake: Sweet Joy Wedding Cakes
This Cake was inspired by bohemian decorations like a mandala and macrame art. Each strand was individually rolled and placed to create a rope-like structure to imitate a macrame design.
The top tier was inspired by a beautiful mandala I have in my room, the round patterns have become very trendy in recent months and I wanted to translate a similar design onto the cake.
The cake was rounded off with beautiful flowy artistic gum paste flowers and leaves.

The cutting of the cake ceremony is about promising to provide for each other. It is a tradition that goes all the way to Roman times.

Charlize and Micheal gave each guest a special cake jar to take home after the wedding. The flavours were vanilla lemon swirl and chocolate black cherry ganache.
